ZinChat ("we", "us") provides messaging, stories, and optional financial features under HazPay. We respect your privacy and aim to be clear and transparent.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the app.

1) Data we collect

Depending on the features you use, we may collect:

  • Account information: email address, profile name, and basic profile details you choose to provide.
  • Usage information: app interactions, feature usage, performance logs, and crash reports.
  • Device information: device identifiers, operating system, app version, language, and similar technical details.
  • Payments and transactions (HazPay): transaction references, purchase details (e.g., data/airtime), wallet activity, reward events, and loan-related status.
  • Communications: support requests and emails you send to us.

2) How we use data

  • Provide and improve ZinChat messaging, stories, and HazPay services.
  • Process transactions and deliver requested digital goods (e.g., data and airtime).
  • Detect fraud, abuse, and unauthorized activities.
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3) Ads and Google AdMob

ZinChat may use Google AdMob to show ads. Some ads may be optional and reward-based (for example, to earn points).

Ad providers may collect or receive device and usage information to provide, measure, and personalize ads subject to their own policies and your device settings.

4) Rewards & referrals

If you participate in rewards or referral programs, we may process referral events, reward eligibility, and redemption history to operate the program and prevent abuse.

5) Loans & eligibility (HazPay)

Where available, HazPay may offer data loans. Eligibility is based on criteria displayed in the app. We may process loan status and repayment events to provide the feature.

Data loans are intended for data access and are not traditional bank loans.

6) Email communication

We may send service-related emails (such as account verification, important notices, and support responses). Marketing emails, if any, should include a way to opt out.

7) Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8) Sharing and disclosure

We may share information:

  • With service providers who help us operate the app (e.g., hosting, analytics, ads, payment processing).

ZinChat is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to consent to data processing. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us.
